cgp
Hi! I have only 16GB and I can't compute big FLIP simulation... How to use Slice Along Line for split big simulation and compute each slice separately at local machine? There are some other ways? H15. Thanks. Solitude
It doesn't work like that. Slicing is for sending it to other machines. If you have 4 computers with 16gb of ram and you need 64 gb of ram then you would use distributed simulation. If you only have the one machine, you're stuck with whatever you can fit into that machine. There are usually a few things you can do to optimize though... make sure you have the container as small as you can, and cache collision volumes as low res as you can get away with.
