Baking textures inside Digital Assets

I am looking for a way for the user of a digital asset (eg inside Unity 3D) to trigger normal and color baking. Is there any?


Using the "bake texture"-operator I fail to save specific image planes and to automatically feed the rendered results back into the texture slots of my low poly representation. Also I would not know how to expose a "render normal map" button to the user.
