Moving pyro emission direction

hey im very new to using Houdini and im working on a moving object that is emitting flames, the problem is i need the control the direction the flames are emitted in, i want to emit on a 45 degree angle however the moving object seems to just force them out at 90 degrees.

There is multiple ways of doing that. The easiest one would be adding velocity in your source. In your Fluid Source node, go to the velocity volumes tab and click on add velocity. Then modify the vector to get the angle you want and that velocity will be called inside of Dops through the source volume (increase the velocity scale for more power)
