Daskerdaks Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) Hi, former c4d user here. I need to add attributes at detail level, but to a lot of objects (hundreds if not thousands). If i use a merge sop first in order to grab all the objects and then feed them into a create attribute sop, then all the objects get merged into one and then I can only add attributes to points, edges etc. How does one solve this? rtep Posted May 23, 2016 Share Posted May 23, 2016 When you merge objects together all of the merged objects will share one detail value. One solution is to merge your objects together, create your attribute as a point, then split your objects into there respective chains and use an attributepromote to promote that point attr to a detail.
