Very often, when Im making an RDB sim, the objects just halt unnaturally. Usually I am able to fix this by setting speed parameters with speedmin and spinmin, but its a bit of a pain, and im not convinced its the correct solution. Is there a setting i'm missing? See how in this file, the second sphere(the only active one in the scene) stops dead around frame 65. Its not quite slow enough to stop.
