ObiNon
I am trying to slow down my pyro simulation with the upres node … When I retime it … my low res sim has 40 frames. I want to cut the speed in half so I specify .5 on the upres node. The new upres sim only seems to calculate 40 frames … not 80. Here is QT to show you what I am talking about. The original is on the left ... the upres on the right. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9wmef0b7fyqroxx/uypres_slow_mo_c.mov?dl=0 uypres_slow_mo_c.mov Edited July 13, 2016 by Mdonovan

ObiNon
I tried it ... it doesnt seem to work fully yet ...or I am doing something wrong ... https://www.dropbox.com/s/hehc4zcueipz2eo/ql_lib_half_speed.mp4?dl=0 The upres solver did work however... i just needed to sim out more frames. JP Shep
I've never used the upres solver but I wonder if you could play with the time scale parameter as well.

Tha main parametr in volume retimer ql it is vel field scale. By default its unchek, its very strange by the way, but when its chek and use preset compute by frame, you can use frame like in time shift to retime your speed .
