kruasan05
Hi guys! How to make the particles are only on the surface as in this example . In my case most of the particles are under water . https://dl.dropbox.com/s/o1j4oqns3wdt3l7/Снимок7777.PNG?dl=0 It bubbles, but in the example they are all on the surface https://dl.dropbox.com/s/6vffkjuv3xyzxfk/Снимок123654.PNG?dl=0 which the author uses to do so. I cuts flipsurface, by bounding volume for top surface field, but most of the particles is still under water . Foam is not enough. I need more foam above the surface. cudarsjanis
You can check this tutorial. http://www.cgsociety.org/training/course/fluids-fx-using-houdini Following this tutorial You can add extra foam with using vops. Also you can increase buoyancy in Y for bubbles, so they reach surface faster and turn into foam.

cudarsjanis
Also what I did once, I just wrote out .bgeo with all particles and before rendering used transform to lift it up on y axes a bit. Also one way to fake it a bit. Shame that for getting more foam if you increase particle count, you get more bubbles as well. and I got to a point where my system couldn`t handle it. and crashed. cant afford 64 Gb RAM, That`s why I used this vops for adding foam. But Graham`s simulations are all great and something to look up to and reach to
