logix1390
Hello, So I have a simple pyro sim using the shelf tools. I want to hide the emitter . How would I go about doing that? I tried searching for this but all I got was this thread here: He is trying to hide it with another box and subtract it ...but this method isn't the best for what i'm trying to do. Is there another way ? Thanks
rbowden
If a box won't work for you, you can always take your original emitter and do the same steps as Miles stated in that thread. Attached is a quick example. volume_delete_source.hip

carlo_c
Had a quick look at the hip file, you can drop a transform before the isooffset to change the size as you see fit before converting to a volume to take as much or less away as you need. You can also try using the volume tools there are things such as volume blur, volume feather etc. all hiding under the volume section in the tab menu
