djpeanut
I'm having a small problem with my foot rigging setup, which I am pretty sure didn't appear when I was testing the rig. The three controls for the foot bone goals, shown in the screenshots, cause the entire foot bone chain to rotate, causing the foot to twist as shown. I can't think why it's happening and I'm not sure how to fix it. Could anyone offer an explanation and some help? Thanks in advance.

edward
Offhand, I would say to redo your foot rig and it looks like the pre-transforms in between them are whacked. - Disconnect all your foot controller objects so that they stay in the same place - Extract all the rotations and scales from the pre-transform - Set them all to zero - Reconnect the foot controller objects. I was unwilling to post the .hip because it's work that's going to be marked for my degree. I sorted it now anyway, using a bit of a hack - I parented the foot bone to a null, then linked the inverse rotation of the heel control to the null. Works fine
