kvlia
I'm currently working on this scene, I have the back half of the geo as my Pyro Flames emitter that I imported in as an alembic file, it has the same animation as the full geo, but when goes down on his knees the fire lags behind and it's still where he was before going down. I've been trying to fix it by increasing the burn rate and taking down the fuel inefficiency, as well as increasing my substeps on my autoDOP as my teacher suggested but none of that worked. Does anyone have any suggestions? Here's the render I have
Jason
I think you might have to ensure you have calculated velocity on your sources. This could impart some initial velocity to the pyro, thereby closing the visual gap.
dimovfx
Probably what's left is still unburned fuel.
