Atom
Hi All, I just finished my first large Houdini project. I have 629Gb of data in my project. What am I to do with all that? What are the best practices for archiving large sets of data, mainly animated geo sequences? Thanks
rbowden
Any caches that you exported out from houdini, I would just get rid of altogether as long as you are able to create them again from your hip files. For stuff you got from animation, well, you can't really do anything about that unless you want to try and zip them up.
f1480187
That sim behaves differently in newer Houdini versions (you may try it, it is fast). Very important caches should be saved too.
