I tried a wire sim with a wire capture, some constraints, a rbd collision method but This chain isn't willing to behave like a chain. More so if the chain is meant to follow an animated object while swi9nging around. Could anyone show me an example on how to make this thing work? thx1138 Posted May 4, 2017 Share Posted May 4, 2017 Your choice is Bullet Solver and Compound collision type for collision geometry (RBD Packed object). Loop over a chain elements: convert to vdb sdf -> vdb to spheres -> bake ode -> pack. And increase substeps for solver.
