stevenong
Hi, Turn on "Override Color" & set your attribute in the parameter. Next, turn on "Visualize Attribute" & start painting away. You might want to change to a different Visualize Mode to see the change. Cheers! steven
peship
yep, i'm doing exactly this. in H7 it works, in H8 doesn't edit: i noticed that "Apply To All" updates the values and the colors.
stevenong
I tried it with 8.0.313 & it works for me. I was using WInXP. What OS are you using? Cheers! steven
peship
I'm on win2k ( at home ). the behaviour is really strange, when i'm painting grid - everything is fine, but if i try the same on a 3D object i cant get it work for some of the object's points, weird. nevermind, i can live with this for now
edward
And these same points are paintable in H7? If so, please post to the Houdini 8 Early Access Forum @ sidefx.com if you can. If it's proprietary, you can gzip & email it to support.
