RejectedMoose
Hey! So, I'm not all too familiar yet with houdini, but here's what I'm trying to do: I have two objects, once the second (moving object) hits the first object (rather static), I want the first object (static) to emit particles from all of its surface. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks!
Atom
Maybe something like this video tut? https://www.sidefx.com/tutorials/emit-particles-from-geometry-intersections/
RejectedMoose
@Atom Hey! Not quite what I was looking for, but thank you for the video. Actually, I have a good representation of what it would look like: Now, I'm still having a hard time setting this up, but I'm assuming its going to be based of the velocity of the object. So if another object makes the main object dislodge and waver around (like the video), it would emit particles. Any guidelines on how to set-up a tree for such a thing?
