Millions of points pipeline

Looking for an efficient way to render millions of screen space points from houdini. I'm very new to mantra but without having a toNDC fromNDC workaround (which is slow for complex geo) I was unable to figure out how to render screen-space-equally-sized points from mantra. Opengl renderer would work just fine if it had a control over the psize or shape (that ugly default point!)

Any ideas?!
