Atom
I have two mesh sources. An animated alembic and a static FBX of the same model. The Alembic has no UVs but the static FBX does. I thought I could just attribute transfer the UVs from the static onto the animated Alembic but the results are not really acceptable. Is there anyway to improve the results of the attribute transfer? Both models have the same point and vertex count. Wings down is the result of the transfer. Wings out is the source I am transferring from. Ok, I figured it out. Stupid alembic polysoup mode. In this case, with a matched polygon count attribute copy is what you want to use. Once I got rid of polysoup mode on the Alembic the attribute copy transfers the UVs just fine. Edited February 27, 2018 by Atom
