How to constrain object between two others?

Recommended Posts

Hi there! I have been given an animation to work on and I wanted to parent constrain a sphere between two objects so that it would stay in the middle of them during the animation. However, in order to parent constrain I apparently need to create a constraint network and I'm finding it really hard to find any resources for that. I just have no idea how constraints work so any help would be appreciated!

Hi Benne, thank you so much for your reply! However, I'm not really sure what I'm looking at? I see that is I transform after the merge they will all have the same animation, but I have been given an alembic that already has movement. I'm trying to parent a sphere to the hand so that it moves with it but I'm not sure how to do that, coming from maya the most logical option was to parent but I don't really know how to do that...
