How to obtain heavy smoke look with POP SPRITE Particles

Well am new to houdini and trying this tut where i have to emit smoke from this jet but i don't know how to get rid of this sprite spacing :mellow: I have tried to increase the number of particles and also adjusted the scale and ramp of the pop sprite but its giving me the same result.

Are you emitting from a moving object ? If yes, maybe the speed is too fast between two frames for the emitter to fill the gaps. In this case, try to increase the number of substeps of your simulation, and it should emit more « continuously ».
