MADjestic
hi, is it possible to project UVs on particles that are born in the volume? For example in cube. If they are born from a grid or a circle - then it works fine. But when I try to make'em inherit UVs from a cube - all they get are 0 0 0 for uv[3] (in spreadsheet) How can it be resolved? Thanks. Here's the file volume_pop.rar
AndrewVK
How about "UV Project" after "popnet1" op???
MADjestic
I need uv's not to change when particles move. I need them get the color of a texture and then - fly away with that color. Not to change it every frame.

brokenpixel
hello all i am trying to do a similar thing - but using instances as my shapes for the particles. without point instancing turned on i get the transfered colors - but when i click on point instancing to get my desired shapes i loose the texturing. any hints ? thanks so much ! - scott
brokenpixel
ok - so now the textures appears on the instance but it is the -entire- texture (in my case a simple bitmap applied via VEX_Decal) and -not- just the color from the initial point. thanks in advance for any help ! - scott
