Rotation Order In Gimbal Mode

This is something a Maya animator brought to my attention when using my character rig at work, so I just tried it out on my Apprentice version and the same problem occurs as well.

Some animators like to use the Gimbal Mode to isolate rotations while in the viewer. This is fine for when using the order of rotations: Rx, Ry, Rz. Meaning Z is the parent of Y, is the parent of X. But when I change the rotation order under the Object/Transfrom parameter folder, the rotation order in Gimbal Mode doesn't change.

BTW, normal rotation handle mode does work when changing the rotation orders.

Anybody experience the same problem?
