abvfx
Hey guys Have a problem, i tried a few weeks ago a maya - zbrush - Houdini workflow. Thing was i couldnt render displacement in Mantra. Tried to look it up, but in the end gave up. So, is their anything i could read or files i could learn from to help me. All i want is a nice clean displacement, no artifacts etc. So any link, and personal advise i would appreciate. I will post my findings here so, the more feedback the more images . abvfx
cheers LEO-oo-, Good reading, helped alot, did more reading whereever i could get it. I knew i loved houdini, but hmmmm awesome stuff, i played with it for ages just couldnt stop, So here is something i got with only .... 2-3 minutes of work . the model isnt finished but damn mantra renders fast. Only took about 10 seconds. The only thing lacking in Houdini is hair and skin but i will be staying to play, thats for sure.
