chumbucket Posted June 13, 2018 Share Posted June 13, 2018 Hi Folks! I'm quite desperate trying to bake AO. My Scene consists of a grid and the rubber toy. I want to have the AO on the grid. Could anybody give me a hand with the steps involved or point me in the right direction. davpe Posted June 14, 2018 Share Posted June 14, 2018 (edited) hi, that's very easy: 1. create AO shader and assign it to the grid 2. have uvs on the grid 3. create baketexture ROP node and set the grid as an uv object 4. flip Disable Lighting/Emission setting in the Baking tab to OFF (on baketexture ROP) 5. render the baketexture ROP check out the attached file if you still don't know how to do it. cheers, D. aobake.hiplc Edited June 14, 2018 by davpe 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
