smuseus
I'm using a wire solver to simulate the deformation of a tree (blowing in the wind). The solver works great but I can't find a good solution to deform the tree geometry with the animate wire. Using a point deform "blurs" out the animation as it needs to capture a lot of surrounding points, and it captures point across branches, which create bugs and odd motion. I thought of making my own "bone" deformer but the problem is that the wire solver doesn't seem to transform points attributes (N, tangentu, up), so I'm not able to create a consistent deformation box between the resting wire and the animated wire. So I'm stuck here, does anyone have any good solutions or ideas?
merlino
Have you tried with a polywire instead of the wire?
