AOV Passes Mantra

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have to use now Houdini apprentice and Mantra, previously I worked with Arnold, I'd like to know how can I with Mantra create same AOV that I used with Arnold : UV,Wireframe, Ambient Occlusion …
These two screenshots is how I did it with Arnold, but I can't find a way to do the same thing in mantra ?
Thanks for your help

hi,

for exporting aovs you want to use bind export VOP. whatever is connected into it will become available as aov. if you want uv, just plug uvcoords VOP into your bind export VOP. for ambient occlusion, plug an occlusion VOP into another bind export VOP, etc. then you have to fill those aov's into Mantra ROP too, but that part is the same with Arnold.

not sure about wireframe aov, I don't think we have anything like that in Mantra... i do a separate render if I want a wireframe render
