ilya_s
Hey guys, first day of using houdini so please bear with me if this is a rookie mistake. I have a simple grid with a mountain node. I want to control height parameter of the mountain node with paint node. So I am doing this: Create grid (row/col = 200x200) Paint "h" attribute in paint node Try to use "h" attribute in "height" parameter. I am stuck in step 3. When I try to reference "@h" in the height parameter it doesn't work. So what I am doing wrong? How do I use my painted attribute to drive the height parameter in mountain node? Atom
Check out this thread. You need to use special named attributes to change the values. Edited August 26, 2019 by Atom
