How can I parent an object to an animated mixamo character

Hello guys! I'm trying to create some kind of flamethrower effect with an animated character holding a flamethrower this character is downloaded from Mixamo and I don't know how to parent "the flamethrower" to the hands of the character. One of the problems here is that I used a time shift to make the animation slower and this make the parenting of the flamethrower to the bones or some kind of null connected to them. I will provide a hip file and three images to make this easier.

since you have skeleton you can directly constraint it to the hand joints

but because you are retiming your geo you'll have to retime your flamethrower geo afterwards too
