MADjestic
Hi there, about 8-10 months ago I played a bit with Inflate SOP - it worked like such - it needed only the first input and had some parameter (like pression or something?) controlling which one could easily achieve an effect of inflating/deflating a polygonal object (a balloon, for example). In the eve I've tried using it to deflate my zeppelin - Now the SOP has 3 inputs and can't take just the single object - obviously it's functionality has changed. The Help Tutorial (Character-muscles stuff) example kind of proves my suspicion. So
thekenny
i'm pretty sure it always had three inputs. mayhap you have something else in your mind? -k
edward
Yeah, always 3 inputs. Just thinking off the top of my head, I wonder if you could construct a point lattice cage around your blimp for deformation, while using the spring sop to do the collapsing (of the cage). You could perhaps control on the collapsing is done by cross connecting the appropriate cage points.
Hazoc
Is there an easy way to deflate an object now, similar to hypothetical original Inflate SOP? I know I know
