vfxMike Posted September 27, 2020 Share Posted September 27, 2020 (edited) Hi all, I'm trying to use a geometry light to light up a vdb, but I keep getting a grainy texture on my toon shader/material and can't seem to figure out why. If I use a regular point light, I get the desired result, any ideas on what this could be? Thanks for the help! Lights that use area to cast illumination, as opposed to a single point, are inherently noisy ; what are your render settings? It sure looks like they're low-quality.
