UV texturing a human body

How would I set the UV from several reference pictures, from various angles by setting some landmarks on the geometry and the matching feature on the 2d image, and having Houdini do the work for me ?

I can see how I could create a tool to do this; so far I' m doing this with some primitive groups to split the work, camera + uv texture:perspective from camera to project the uv, UV brush to tune the location.

What tools are available to me in Houdini to make the process a bit easier ?
