Hai Nguyen
Hi, I'm following a tutorial that uses Redshift to create instance points in sop instead of using copy to points node. However, when I render in Arnold, create an attribute named instancefile and put an .ass file directory like they do (they put .rs file instead .ass), it renders white spheres instead of my object. I'd like to ask if I set up something wrong or is this a feature only for RS. How can I make it work in Arnold? Sorry for my bad explanation. You can see images below to see my issue. This is a setup using copy to points node. I want to do the same for instance points. Instead, I have white spheres which I believe these are points. No matter what objects I put in instancefile node, they always render out white spheres. This is the file just in case you need: test.hip Thank you for helping me. dleonhardt
For Arnold you need to add the 'ptinstance' Render Property to the Geo node.
