Time-lapse using heightfield erode

REC

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am working on a Time-lapse animation using heightfields. I am animating some noise offset to create the effect that the landscape is changing.

I would really like to use the heightfield erode to add more detail.

I am not sure how to set this up seeing that the heightfield erode only works on a single frame. How can I erode per frame, could this be a PDG solution?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can sort of hack this by copying the internals of the Heightfield Erode inside a Foreach Loop with Feedback. You'll have to change/relink some of the parameters but it works, I had to do it once.

Otherwise yes, timeshift the frame you need and run it through tops by wedging the noise each frame.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I think I want to use tops for this but I am not sure what to parameter to wedge.

Conceptually this is what I am of what I am trying to recreate.
