prim function in attribute create

in attached hip file, I'm trying to talk to the attribute create but I can't get the prim function to work (if I'm supposed to be using it) for creating an attribute from group.

I know I can use the attribute wrangle

i@attribute1=@group_group1;

I know I can use the name from group

but I don't know why the prim function isn't working in an attribute create:

prim(0,@primnum,"group:group1",0)

Any idea?

You cant use VEX in attribute create
