UltraRenders
Hey, I'm new to USD and Solaris workflows, my goal is to export my scene to Blender via USD. I have a light in the Object context that has its intensity being driven by a parameter coming from a MOPs Sequencer node inside of a Geo node. When I move into Solaris to try and export using the USD Rop, I get a warning message: "Layer saved to a location generated from a node path", and in the files, its splitting the light and the Geo node into two separate USD files, and breaking the parameter links. I tried enabling "Flatten File Layers" and "Flatten SOP Layers" on the USD Rop node before exporting. Do I have to use Solaris to export USD with things in the OBJ context? Or is there a work around? I've tried creating an object network inside of the Geo node and exporting, but that was unsuccessful as well. Any insight would be appreciated, Thanks! lynloveyounever
You can use TOP network to build a export way for OBJ context. It's both working in ROP node path or SOP node path.
