Rotation to follow curve

You can get a procedural quasi-  Ackermann steering result by pushing the wheel pivot points along the original curve and making new curves with orients from those positions.
I've attached a simple hip that gives the idea. Here the body is just copied along a center curve but you can take this farther, constructing the position and orientation of the chassis from the wheel pivot positions. You can ray the constructed curves to a terrain as well. I've used this as a basis for a few path-driven vehicle rigs.
