Render Region to disk in Karma? Is it possible?

Hello and sorry for another noobeish question! Just wanted to know is it possible to render region to disk with Karma XPU? For the sake of economy of time & electricity? Thank you!

You can use Render Gallery and take a snapshot of your viewport with render region. Once you snapshot the image it was saved in your project directory into /galleries/your_file_name/ as *.exr

Thank you very much but this is not exactly what I wanted. The idea was to render for example region of lower third of the frame, and render it as separate EXR, with AOV, cryptomatte, depth, etc. And even better if it could be possible for animated sequence!

Houdini 20 saves snapshots with AOVs. As for rendering sequence as a variant to setup additional camera and karma lops with resolution and settings you need. Or write a custom python script.

I think this is what you can rendering a sequence with. It is not as conveniently as drag a frame in viewport and rendering that region but it is better then nothing.
