Kuro
I am trying to make some RBD objects float in a flip simulation. RBD objects does not have any unnecessary attributes. And I turned up feed back scale too. It is working with some simple boxes but not with fbx objects. I am uploading my files, please have a look and if you can find a answer please tell me. Atom
Only RBD Hero objects can float on FLIP. ap_flip_moves_hero_012524.hiplc
Kuro
But i guess rbd hero object node can only account for 1 object at a time right? for example, if you pass 3 objects with different name through it, it'll solve like all there objects are one object altogether. so do i have to take a rbd hero object node for every object in my scene? Atom
It looks like the old-school RBD solver can do that just fine. Here is a discussion on SideFX about that. https://www.sidefx.com/forum/topic/94452/#post-412963 I applied the suggestions to the posted test scene to produce a proof-of-concept. Play with the density of the fluid and the RBD objects by changing the values on the Physical tabs. ap_RBD_FLIP.hipnc Edited February 18 by Atom 1
Kareeem
Would this be possible with the new FLIP SOP nodes?
