sipi
I'm trying to get an understanding on how to handle properly a collision sdf vdb with flip simulations. (See the video and hip.) In the video I demonstrate two subject matter. 1. I wonder why do the particles go crazy if I turn on Fill Interior for the collision vdb? 2. Should I prevent the collision vdb to go outside the Boundary Layer in general? (the guided ocean layer setup was set by the shelf tool) Best wishes, Attila Sipos collision_sdf_for_flip.mov collision_sdf_for_flip.hiplc
paranoidx
When I turn `reseeding` off, it's fine It could be some problem with the detect collision to kill particle inside the tank with collision -> when `fill interior` checked which enable the remove collision from surface for FLIP, it used volume wrangle to remove from @surface. The particle from initial not delete however it's fine after that image: https://imgur.com/a/9JKfvdd Love to discuss more if you find something **** I did keep `reseed particles` on, then enable `single pass reseeding` which help much because it is using guided simulation. There is no issue with particles reseed initial Image: https://imgur.com/BTqDvZ3 Edited February 27 by paranoidx update
