sanostol
Hi again, i try to set the particle Size of the RenderPOP with the existing $PSCALE Attribute, but he ignores it and shows it in red. is it not supported or is there a other way? the second problem I have is that somehow I can not get the disk to render, it allways renders as spheres even when sphere normal is unchecked. do I need to add some normal attribute before? aracid
the second problem I have is that somehow I can not get the disk to render, it allways renders as spheres even when sphere normal is unchecked. do I need to add some normal attribute before? have u tried setting it to tubes, disks didnt render for me either, but tubes do, and so do capped tubes. on that note the renderpop doesnt take $LIFE, or poppoint ($PT, "LIFE", 0) under particle size, where as the same expression or attrib works in other pops. is this a bug ? old school
Disks render with the normal option to have them "look" like spheres. Try turning off the sphere normal on disks then render...

Hello, turning OFF sphere normal does not have any effect. Particles render like spheres. Rendering out disks is not possible (maybe a bug ?) Using H 8.2.13 bern
