MIguel P
Hello again. I'm back with another scene This time is a meteor impact. The explosion and the smoke trail are sprites with a procedural VOP shader. The explosion glow is created in Fusion applying filters to the render. I olny rendered one pass form Houdini. Hope you like it. michael
very cool as always Miguel... the only quick comment that I have would be to give the impact more of the direction of the meteor... keep up the great work
ragupasta
Miguel, thats pretty sweet man. Only thing I would say is, if this is a meteor, then it will be doing an extremely excessive speed, from atmosphere entry, to point of impact. I would have thought a shockwave would be visible from such a force, or even a wispy-type dirt effect riding out on the shockwave. Top work man!!

zoki
very nice as always Miguel the only comment from me would be that that secondary debris flyin up is to equal maybe try making few shorter , slower and some thicker and thinner and consisting of different sprite density this will make it look much more organic/natural z
