rdg
Hi, If I wanted to model something like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lydd/259642988/ How would I get non-interfusing meshes? Would all mushrooms be in the sameSOP and I would use a lattice and raySOP to deform them? Or would every mushroom be a singe OBJ? Or would I use particels or cloth? I read a post the the sideeffects forum where oldschool described a technique to choose the right house to fit at defined place. Would this be a method that can be used here? I could deform the mushrooms by hand - one by one. As I haven't modeled any mushrooms yet, this is a pure theoretical discussion, though. symek
Ask ptakun about his cactusos gardenos entry on SESI challenge... or from a top if my head: create a field of static particles with self collision enabled. Give them volume/distance based on mushroom instance it will belong to. (or give you instances size of particles collision distance amount). sy. rdg
Ask ptakun about his cactusos gardenos entry on SESI challenge... ptakun pointed in the same direction ... I will see if I can make any sense from your hints. Georg
