ykcosmo
We made a octopus like monster, and use the spring sop ,chop wave to make its antenna animate. When the whole character moves, the splines cross eachother. Is there any way to solve this problem in DOP?
sanostol
just a thought... You could use your "hand" animated splines as constraining object for a solved wire, and the constraint set to spring, so that You can use the wiresolver to solve the collisions. ykcosmo
hmm....I am not familiar with the wiresolver in RBD, I am not sure if these are some softbody tools. finally, I used point sop, and increased the force, get it work.......very strange...... You can bring in geos into DOPs as 'animated_RBD' -- check it on RBD_OBJECT node, also use 'point_velocity_for_collisions' on RBD_SOLVER

ykcosmo
thanks, it works now:)
