Retrieve Particle Color From Shader

Hi guys, stupid question.

How do I pick up the particle color in a VEX shader? Pretty new to Houdini thinking I can't make the connection between the Cd attribute, what I think is the particle color, at the geometry level and the rendering side of things.

Some rough direction or quick keywords what to look for would be much appreciated. Hope you don't mind.

Will do.

I'm dabbeling with this in my freetime and I found that if you build your shader in the VEX Builder you can just add Cd to the Attributes field and then pull it from a Parameter node that is named Cd.

Give me a bit to make sure I'm not posting something improper to the wiki.
