pberto
Hi there, I would like to know which is the fastest cloth-like solver that handles selfcollisions in Houdini9: I have a system of lowpoly objects that needs to interact between each other in a hard-cloth kinda fashion, imagine something like lowpoly leaves falling and hitting eachother. Performance-wise I am currently handling it quite fast in Maya with Nucleus, aroud 2000 objects, but I would like to test out the same in Houdini because I need to apply changes during the simulation, and currently my system is quite destructive, so the non destructive proceduralism is highly apreciated. Any hint is welcome, Paolo
edward
You might want to consider making them "squishy objects" as opposed to "cloth".
