iamjaideep80
HI Everybody... I want to know, where is the Auto Archive option in H9. Or is there are alternative way to that. I have 100 different objects, and can't do the archiving manually. The Archive generator archives the whole thing into one single file. How can I generate 100 ifd/rib files with same name as the object in a particular folder and assign that as an archive to my original 100 geometries. ------Jaideep
Jason
There now a "Mantra Archive ROP" in H9.1 beta. I see it generates IFD archives for inclusion into the IFD stream (you can "source myarchive.ifd" in IFDs now). However, I'm not sure that all the support auto-archiving functionality is there in H9.1 yet... perhaps SESI could elaborate on its current and future plans for the Mantra Archive. I'm not sure it can (yet) support the automated writing of many archives... perhaps an RFE? I suspect this incompleteness-of-being is what prevented it's listing upon the Whats New in 9.1 list. We all wait with baited breath on the reincarnation of AutoArchiving - it's bloody useful when you get it going.
