RLD
I'm getting this odd issue with the UI not showing at all. While I can see the title bar up top and below, everything else is gone. As you can see if I set the help browser to show at startup I can see that fine. If I turn down Hardware acceleration in display properties in windows I can get it to load normally. Of course I have the latest of all drivers and even tried some old ones. I've done as much homework as I can stand so far. Searched Google, SideFX etc I can't believe I'm the only one to ever have experienced this problem. Any help or clues would be ever so appreciated. RLD
what kind of video card are you using? Hi Michael, thanks for responding. On this machine I'm using a Radeon X1650 Series 512mb card. Many people will condemn ATI right from the start because of their track record with 3D apps. I myself have been using ATI at work and at home with Houdini for years and have been lucky enough not to be plagued by any problems.
