Marc
Hey, welcome . In my experience it's pretty easy to find a job as a Houdini FX person. Of course there are tons of unknowns which could affect it (visa issues, general downturn in the amount of work etc.), but I know that when we're busy we can never find enough Houdini people. So speaking generally, there are more jobs than there are people to fill them as far as Houdini goes. The downside to that is that there are fewer companies using Houdini, so you have less options of where to work. This sort of leads us back into the discussion of why there isn't too much Houdini based art around. And the generally accepted theory is because we're all too busy working at our day jobs to have the time to produce anything . Hope this helps Marc
