canadianboy
As some of you know im about to start giving houdini a go. Im a long time c4d user and always like learning from books instead of staring at a screen then looking at another screen. I just find it easier for me to learn. Well anyways ho you guys recommend this book since its based on H8 and im using H9. I understand there was alot of changes made in H9 from 8. Are these changes so great that it will make the book hard to follow? Ive gone through the Digital tutors into to houdini and found it good to get a grasp on the UI and a few other things. Is there any thing else you guys would recommend for training? Im going to devote a big part of my free time to learning houdini. Thanks guys!! I still think the magic of Houdini is the single best resource available right now. You could even use a legacy version of 8 apprentice etc. Edited February 24, 2008 by andrewlowell
