itheben
Hi all. Have a problem with context sensitive l-system. Exactly: Premise: A Rule1: A>B=F and nothing happens (string is not rewritten). Without brackets it works. Any ideas? (In fact I need signal propagation from main branch to children (as in "The Algorithmic Beauty of Plants", Mycelis muralis
FrankFirsching
I noticed this years back (I think it was in houdini 5-days). I remember I had a discussion on the SideFX forum going on about how context sensitivity in an l-system has to be interpreted, but I can't find the thread anymore. This was my old problem: Premise AC Rule 1: A>C=D Houdini5 didn't match this rule, although it should. A quick check proved, that H9 doesn't have my old problem anymore, but your's might be a variant of this, that isn't fixed yet.
