Unstructered Points To Mesh

hi all,

i need to build a mesh based on quite a number of unstructered points on a nurbs surface i got from outside houdini. what i did so far is that i flattened the points with $MAPU and $MAPV inside a point-sop, used triangulate2d and brougth them back onto the surface. the thing is that i have to refine the mesh what i did inside triangulate2d. and that

the color trick did the job. works like a charm!!

that would make things much more easy. the problem is that i have some very acute angles which i need to remove and using subdivide creates some funky "voronoi diagrams" i don
