cloudfx
Hi, I was trying to render a primitive that I imported from maya using Blastcode to have fracture on the primitive. It renders fine when I bring it into Houdini at first time. I used the primitive sop to connect with the pop net. After I did that, the primitive render is all black. It has alpha but just black. Even though I give it basic material such as gray blinn or red color to see it. Light is looking at the geometry and camera is working fine. I tried to render with a cube to test, and the rendering of the cube was fine. Normal of the primitive is working fine and I tried reverse sop too. Its all not working.. Have you guys had this kinda problem?? Thanks for reading. Edited April 27, 2008 by Jae Yoo
edward
It sounds like your POP network is the problem? Did you try rendering some simple geometry with your POP network?

Hi, Thank you for your reply, I cut all the surface and particle operator in the sop and create another sop and paste them in there. It worked fine.. I guess the sop had a problem that I did not know..hm. Its working fine right now. Thx!
